.No-Bake Cookie Oatmeal.
This may not be revolutionary to some of you - but making oatmeal with the right ingredients can turn your typical breakfast into a cookie-like treat. I made way too much oatmeal one day, so I stored the extras in my fridge. When I pulled it out to have as a snack, I realized it tasted just like a no-bake cookie. Which makes sense since the base is the same: Cocoa and oats.
But what’s not in this recipe is the sugar, butter, extra things to make a cookie its usual sweetness. This isn’t supposed to be a cookie - but with the cocoa and nut butter creaminess, it is darn close.
No-Bake Cookie Oatmeal
- chocolate protein/collagen powder
- cocoa powder (I added Keto Cocoa by Ancient Nutrition for an extra chocolaty taste)
- flavorless collagen/protein powder (for additional nutrients/protein)
- peanut/any nut butter
- rolled organic oats
- seeds, sunflower or pumpkin (optional)
- vanilla extract (optional)
—.—.
- Blend the dry ingredients before adding water (for better mixture and less clumping)
- Add water and nut butter
- Cook all ingredients per oatmeal's instructions
- Sprinkle seeds or any extras on top and serve
- Eat warm or put in fridge to have as a cool snack. The chocolaty, no-bake flavor seemed to be enhanced for me when I ate it cool
